Differnce between Sea breeze and Land breeze

            

SEA BREEZE - The specific heat of water is higher than the soil therefore the land is more heated by the sun than the water in the sea.Thus during day time the air over the land expands and rises upward, while the cool air from sea blows towards the land to take its place this phenomenon is called sea breeze.


LAND BREEZE - During night time the land cools much faster than water,therefore the air near the water expands and rises upward, the cooler air from the land moves towards the sea this phenomenon is called land breeze.

ROLE OF GRAVITY IN SEA BREEZE AND LAND BREEZE - The gravity plays an important role in the process of convection.without gravity the denser fluid do not sink to the bottom to replace the rise in hotter fluid.
